Yamaha YSS82ZUL Custom Z Soprano Saxophone

Distinctive designs offer players beautiful tonal colours. The new Custom Z soprano models are reminiscent of vintage Yamaha soprano saxophone designs. YSS82Z is available with a straight neck, while YSS82ZR has a curved neck.

YSS82Z Necks: The one piece neck without any joints between the body and the neck provides a free and even response. YSS82Z is available with a straight neck, which provides clearness and brightness to the sound.

Ergonomic key layout: Key layout is designed to fit humans' hands. This helps players concentrate on their performance without feeling stress.

Adjustable tear drop front F key: The unique tear-drop shaped F key improves playability. It is adjustable to players' preferences.

Mother of pearl key button: Mother of pearl is used as key buttons. It improves playability by making it easier to hold with soft but not slippery surface. 

Seesaw key: The left-hand seesaw key has been designed to increase playability as well as provide a more comfortable feel.

One piece bell: Craftsmen shape the bell from a sheet of brass with a hammer. This adds a unity to the body and makes the intonation in middle to lower range smoother. It also has solid tone.

YSS82Z: The Custom Z saxophone features a 'anemone' engraving design which is hand engraved on every instrument. Custom Z logo is the proof of craftsmanship.

Case (SSC820): the 82Z saxophones come in slim, lightweight cases which provide excellent protection. A convenient shoulder strap is also included.
