Yamaha YTS62AIII Series Tenor Saxophone - Amber Lacquer

Amber and unlacquered finishes are new additions to the 62 Saxophone Series lineup.

Features

Unique bell engraving method: The hand engraving is done by craftsmen after lacquering to enhance the contrast with the brass. The beautiful engraving design further enhances the luxurious feel of the YTS62IIIA. A special technology topcoat enables the product to maintain its beautiful condition for a long period of time.

YTS62 Neck: A slightly narrower bore provides a faster response and greater control. The new 62 style neck allows a comfortable flow of air so that every player can attain a solid tonal core.

YTS62 Neck receiver: The professional style neck receiver increases togetherness of neck and body offering richer tones. It has the flexibility to choose between the included 62-style neck and those designed for the Custom X and Custom EX Yamaha saxophones (sold separately).

Octave key with a regular joint to realize smoothness: A simple but functionable octave joint to realize smoothness.

62 Shape: Traditional body shape is adopted which makes the sound brighter and playing feel lighter.

Ergonomic key layout: Key layout is design to fit humans' hands. This helps players concentrate on their performance without feeling stress.

Integrated key posts: This style of key posts adds a moderate resistance and makes the instrument sound as you blow into it.

Adjustable tear drop front F Key: The unique tear-drop shaped F key improves playability. It is adjustable to players' preferences.

Seesaw key: The left-hand seesaw key had been designed to increase playability as well as provide a more comfortable feel.

Two-point contact: Two-point contact is adopted for enhanced projection and a free-blowing response.

Two-piece bell: Two pieces of brass sheets are jointed together by the hands of craftsmen, then shaped to the bell with a machine.

Bell ring: Bell rings supports the instrument to vibrate well when players blow into it.

Separate style key guard: The separate key guards feature adjustable screw cap stoppers for professional-style technical adjustments.

Improved low B-C# connection: An improved mechanism from low B-C# connection ensures the consistent closing of the low C# key and promotes a clear response from notes in the low range of the instrument.
