YAS62 Neck:Â A slightly narrower bore provides a faster response and greater control. The new 62 style neck allows a comfortable flow of air so that every player can attain a solid tonal core.
YAS-62 Neck Receiver:Â The professional style neck receiver togetherness of neck and body offering richer tones. It has the flexibility to choose between the included 62-style neck and those designed for the Custom Z and Custom EX Yamaha saxophones (sold separately).
Octave key with a regular joint to realize smoothness:Â A simple but functionable octave joint to realize smoothness.
62 Shape:Â Traditional body shape is adopted which makes the sound brighter and playing feel lighter.
Ergonomic key layout:Â Key layout is designed to fit to human's hands. This helps players concentrate on their performance without feeling stress.
Integrated key posts:Â This style of key posts adds a moderate resistance and makes the instrument sound as you blow into it.
Adjustable tear drop front F Key:Â The unique tear-drop shaped F key improves playability. It is adjustable to players' performances.

Two-piece bell: Two pieces of brass sheets are jointed together by the hands of craftsmen, then shaped to the bell with a machine.
