Taking Care of Your Pianica

Many people believe that the liquid that drips from a wind instrument like the Pianica is saliva, but that is not the case. It is mostly condensation of the moisture in the player's breath. Accumulated water can be removed from the instrument by blowing into the mouthpiece and extension pipe can be washed with plain water. the interior and exterior of the instrument itself should not be washed with water or any other type of cleaning liquid.
