30 short pieces and canons for xylophones, with pieces for one of for two players. Some pieces specify what range of xylophone is desired and others do not. The last pieces also has a part for timpani and hand drum. Many different kinds of pentatonic scales are used (with an without semitones). Pieces #21-30 also have an upper part that could be sung of possibly played on another instrument (no lyrics are given - just an upper melody line). The pieces in this book are suitable for advanced players who would like to play from notation.
