The YAS480 intermediate saxophone is designed to make the step up from your student model smooth and enjoyable. With a design influenced by high-end Yamaha saxophones, the YAS-480 features highly accurate intonation, a warm tone and a quick response. It is lightweight yet durable, and comes with a professional-quality 62-style neck for a more mature quality of sound.

YAS480 Neck: The neck is designed for 480 series for improved tone and response.

YAS480 Neck Receiver: The redesigned octave key system gives players the flexibility to choose between the included 62-style neck and those designed for the Custom Z and Custom EX Yamaha saxophones (sold separately).

Octave key with a regular joint to realize smoothness: A simple but functionable octave joint to realize smoothness.

62 Shape: Traditional body shape is adopted which makes the sound brighter and playing feel higher.

Ergonomic Key layout: Key layout is designed to fit humans' hands. This helps player concentrate on their performance without feeling stress.

Separate style key guard: The separate key guards feature adjustable screw cap stoppers for professional style technical adjustments.
