The units in this collection offer a unique way to introduce the study of popular performers and, through them, music genres into your classroom. Each unit includes a short biography of the performer, along with his or her discography, a list of other performers in the same genre, and a brief statement about that genre, all of which may be reproduced for your students. There’s plenty of great information on the surface, but to help further engage and involve students, secret information has been embedded within the articles.
